My PR was accepted, so now you can take a look at the fruits of my labor in the Factor repo on Github. Here's my minimal comdlg32 that is to be extended with new structs and functions:
Here's how it is used (see save-file-dialog method):
(Maybe the open-file-dialog needs to be rewritten using comdlg32. Plus, there is a TODO-comment in the save-file-dialog implementation. Feel free to contribute to the works!)
