Hi,
To block the suspicious IP address making wrong attempts, we are planning to
use Fail2ban in our product.
Version we used is "fail2ban-0.8.7.1-1.el6.rf.noarch.rpm".
This version of fail2ban rpm is not supporting ipv6 directly.
There are some workaround suggested [ in this link -
http://crycode.de/wiki/Fail2Ban#IPv6] to modify failregex.py and filter.py to
accomodate ipv6.
But this is not working fine.
If someone can help me get thru this workaround would be great. Else could
someone kindly let know when will fail2ban rpm start supporting ipv6 address?
