Morning,

At the wordpress level I use Wordfence which is a WAF (Web Application
Firewall) which block's users and IP's. I am curious how are you blocking such
attacks using fail2ban?

Subject: [Fail2ban-users] WordPress attacks and apache-auth activity

Is anyone else seeing lots more WordPress attacks this week? I've got the usual
attack vectors blocked in my Apache config so I see a lot of "client denied by
server configuration" in my error_log. This week it's coming in about every
5-10 minutes, never a repeated source IP, so it seems like a DDoS or just lots
of bots probing.
