MMY doesn't see himself as a master in the holy
tradition either. He served a master that had that
status, as you say. MMY certainly does have a "point"
value that many find to be devious and manipulative.
As I've said before, namaste with your hand covering
your wallet. But I still argue that the Brahman value
is the same in MMY and Guru Dev. MMY was a wonderful
tool of Brahman to spread the understanding and
technique of transcending. Most disciples, once
realized, stay in the forest, so to speak. MMY had a
need to conquer the world with his knowledge. He did
the best job he could. Too bad he couldn't get out of
his own way!
