There may be some who claim that all who leave the TMO need to be
labeled as pathological, but I am not doing so. Chopra, however, is
so arrogant as to qualify for the label "pathological" in my opinion,
and in the opinion of a number of writers who have interviewed him or
otherwise examined his work since leaving the TMO.

To say that only Chopra can say why he left the TMO is ridiculous --
everybody has a right to think about the behavior of public figures,
and Chopra is such a public figure, who would still be just another
M.D. in Boston if MMY had not given him the knowledge of Ayurveda and
other Vedic knowledge, which he has spun into a huge personal fortune.

MMY has said that people stop meditating because the high stress
levels in the world do not permit people to be happy -- this does not
make people who quit TM "pathological," but the current world
certainly is pathological, disease-producing.
