I worked at an ice cream parlor in Westport, CT as a teenager (Dr. Pete will remember the place) and we had something called the Pig's Trough. It consisted of 5 of those big cylindrical tubs of ice cream - what are they, 5-gallon? - and then tons of other glob and whipped cream. It cost $50 which was a lot in 1966. If you could eat the whole thing in three hours you could have it for free, but I doubt that anyone ever tried.
Some pretty cool bands played there, including a NYC group called the Magicians, a CT group called the Remains that had a hit or two and performed on the Ed Sullivan show, and Napoleon XIV, who sang one of the top 100 hits of 1966:
