And these secondary posts are clearly identified as being from
ffl_topic_heading_editor and easily skipped if you have already read
the original post. 

And i may be incorrect, but I am of the impression that a large
majority of people read ffl from the web.

Not true. You actually have responded to my post of the (few) posts
that some posters will need to add to their tally. And with the 
increase to 50, this should not be an issue this week.  After this
week, I anticipate 5 or less topic changes per week.
