Have you ever tried a Parker Fly with the Piezo pickup? I am a guitar player and I've had some problems with my right arm and shoulder so switched from an Ovation acoustic to a Parker Fly with Piezo. I also use a Boss AD-5 processor, and the sound is fantastic. It really sounds acoustic, and the action is phenomenal with those jumbo frets on the Parker. In fact, people in coffee houses (when I used to play them) would do double and triple takes, not being able to believe their eyes at the acoustic sound of the very electric looking Parker Nitefly I own.
I don't think I have yet recorded with the Parker, though. To hear my Ovation work, go to the iTunes Store and search for Too Close On Purpose (my first CD of all-original songs). I think you'll like them if you like guitar since they were all written on the guitar. Enjoy the music!
