True, as has happened in the past, the trailers may contain the *only* interesting scenes in the movie, but these appear watchable:
Hancock -- Will Smith as a superhero who's a fuckup. Hellboy 2 -- directed by Guillermo del Toro, the visionary director of Pan's Labyrinth. Look -- "Since 9/11 more than 300 million surveil- lance cameras have been installed in America. Americans are captured on surveillance cameras at least 170 times a day mostly without their knowledge." An entire film *shot* on surveillance cameras. 10,000 BC -- 'Vedic Times' as done by director Roland Emmerich. The Dark Knight -- continues the reinvention of Batman, with Christian Bale as the first good one. Sweeney Todd -- what is not to like about Johnny Depp singing and dancing about cutting people's throats? The Machine Girl -- clearly too violent for most here, but it looks more like great Japanese shock than schlock to me. Rambo -- worth it to me to see Stallone as Fat Elvis. Walk Hard -- the trailer is hilarious; maybe the movie will be as well. The Other Boleyn Girl -- Henry VIII has to choose between Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. My bet is that Henry beat John Montagu to the invention of the sandwich by several centuries. Saawariya -- not my cuppa chai, but for those here who enjoy that sorta thing, this one appears to be a Bollywood remake of Dostoevsky's "White Nights."
