So for me it isn't just that Hillary picked a spouse who
is wildly attractive, *way* smarter than anybody here,
and deeply spiritually inspirational, it's how she's been
able to deal with the ups and downs of the relationship
that leads me to admire her greatly.
I basically agree with most of that, altho I would say that having
the entire world aware of what goes on in your marriage constitutes a
bit more than the average "difficulties." :) My guess is they had
some arrangement by which Bill could pretty much do whatever he
wanted as long as nobody else found out.
You're right, though, that H's being able to hold it together says a
lot, but I never have been able to relate to her very well in other
ways. I sense too much stress or subtle anger there, and it puts me
off every time. That and her many Iraq votes. I wonder, if she is
so tough, why she didn't have the guts to vote her conscience?
