Edg is a putz, and I really don't want to spend any more of my Sunday thinking about him, but I just had to comment on the above. Have you *ever* read such an ego-bound defense of bad behavior in your entire life? In Edgworld, exercising a modicum of control over one's emotions is "ten zillion times worse" that "getting triggered" and lashing out. In other words, what it costs him *to* exercise some modicum of control over his emotions is ten zillion times more important in the cosmic scheme of things than what it costs others to endure his lashing out. I'm sorry, but this is the mindset of the chronic abuser, the kind of person who beats his wife and/ or kids and then expects them to forgive him, because he was just being himself. They would under- stand him and why he needs to lash out like this if they were just evolved enough.
