Yes, the tin-foil turban with special powers(?), a colored man-
servant, & his robe; he's the highest civil authority of the 
municipality there.  It is indeed a memorable photo.  It really ought 
to go at least in to the files of the FFL archive, if not the State 
of Iowa Historical Society collection.

p.s., i did ran in to three sets of MUM faculty since who did say 
they turned around and went home after seeing that mayor thus.  
Particularly with the colored-man-servant it was too bad to take. too 
sad to take.  They left not wanting to be associated. -D
