SBS was addressing primarily a Hindu audience, you must remember he
was the Shankaracharya, the highest representative of the *Hindu*
Religion in the North. He spoke in Hindu terminology, MMY spoke to an
entirely different audience, primarily in the West where HE developed
*Yoga-lite for modernity*, he never even suggested (to my knowledge)
that he was teaching SBS or religious Hinduism for that matter.

MMY NEVER claimed to be a Sat-Guru!! He was a Maharishi (great
teacher, whether you agree or not) he was NOT a personal Guru nor was
that his intention! the basic teaching MMY shared are not the sole
possession of his or Guru Dev's but are the collective knowledge of
the Vedic culture of India passed down thru many teachers. Guru Dev
was MMY's inspiration is all, he said, "Guru Dev made me...."
paraphrased.

Preposterous......

I was 16 when I started and am 57 now and still practice, it's a great
technique, I'm sorry you don't see that. You may have issues with the
TMorg. but these ones are a little bogus, IMO.
