Many TM'ers take this to mean that you don't even have to make an
effort to accomplish your goals, but that is pure foolishness! And
not what MMY meant!
He meant that you become more and more *effective* in activity as a
result of increased energy and clarity of purpose gained from
meditation.
He most certainly did not mean either of the above. He was using 'do nothing
and accomplish everything' as a sound bite to refer to the eternal unfolding of
creation from the unmanifest level of Brahman into the manifest level of
Brahman and how that unfolding is so effortless that the person in unity
consciousness realizes it merely appears to happen (maya), and he wanted your
consciousness to be at that level of understanding.
Of course, you're never going to be God...you can only be in God consciousness,
but that is not being God. Meaning, the individual in God consciousness will
never accomplish everything. So what he really meant isn't reality, either.
By the way, the Pleiadians have just informed me that you will be in God
consciousness and have this understanding in eighteen of their tri-lunar
months. Congrats.
"...but mountain doesn't move!"

*Caution-Serious preaching ahead, if you are uncomfortable with
preaching gently remove your hand from the mouse and takes 3 steps

Of course MMY use to say, "Do nothing and accomplish everything", or
earlier, "Do less and accomplish more", which is more to the point.

He meant that you become more and more *effective* in activity as a
result of increased energy and clarity of purpose gained from
meditation. It doesn't mean you suspend your dynamic will *waiting*
for more effectiveness to dawn but you continue to exercise your
dynamic will, supplementing it with regular meditation and eventually
when energy becomes infinite so the energy spent will seem insignificant.
