To join Purusha several fortunate things had to be right; single, 
stable income, no social obligations etcetc. But perhaps the most 
important thing was/is that you are able to read between the lines, 
combined with a well developed intuition, thus understanding that 
Maharishi certainly is your Teacher.
Without that knowledge you would not last very long on Purusha.
