Researchers at UCLA have used 75 networked
computers to discover the 46th known Mersenne
prime number. (Prime numbers are divisible only
by themselves and 1.)

In related news, the Global Government of the
Age of Enlightenment has announced that, due
to the extraordinary power of the laws of nature
and the field of all possibilities, this number
is exactly the same as *both* the amount of
dollars they hope to raise this year to build a
new college campus *and* the number of students
who will never attend it.

Scientists at UCLA are already at work trying to
find an even larger prime number, which Dr. John
Hagelin, spokesman for the Global Government of
the Age of Enlightenment, predicts will be found
to be the same as *both* the number of perfect,
stress-free days we can look forward to in Sat
Yuga *and* the number of empty promises made
over the years by the TMO.
