Ahhh, those ubiquitous Mexican computers, [North] American made -- Dell. Lenovo has been around for many years, both the company and the name, was the Asian manufacturer and distributor for IBM. Publicly, IBM said it wanted to spin off the laptops or PCs generally to generate capital, Lenovo was there to do it, already familiar not only with PCs but the IBM enterprise as well.
