I was thinking of the 21 hours of daylight in Fairbanks in the summer 
months -- that would affect seeing the lights, no? Besides which I 
might not want to stay up all night to see em. Someday I might join 
the hordes of Japanese tourists who fly into Fairbanks for a couple 
winter nights for a little out of town viewing.
