Y'know, me GF/roomie's dad was president of a bank in NYC for many years. Seems he refused to let it get involved with the shenanigans that have plagued all too many banks in the last few years despite pressure from his BoD to go for the gold in them thar hills, and, LO! its in pretty good financial shape even now...
