Except... that the long-term goal of the researchers is to get collaborators to replicate it. That's not to say that what you're claiming isn't a factor, only that it isn't the long-term implication of the TM reserchers' agenda. I know Fred Travis pretty well. We've spoken face to face several times over the years. He comes across as honest and sincere. . Part of his PhD work was on establishing a person-to-person correlation for brainwave coherence between 2 different yogic flyers. He hasn't published a replication of this study, which I assume is because he couldn't reproduce the results. That suggests he may well have sat on null-finding studies over the years, but that is NOT the same as claiming he fabricated his original research. When a TM researcher finds results that she can replicate, she does so, and establishes the parameters for ensuring a positive outcome before inviting independent researchers to join her and replicate it in larger studies. It's certainly biased research, but not fraudulent. L
