So, what does Adyashanti, who grew up in
the 'Zen tradition', have to say about the
soul-monad theory and the 'Self'? Last time
I checked, the Zen tradition didn't support
these kind of metaphysical notions. The Zen
Tradition founded by Bodhidharma is based
on the Lankavatara Sutra which denies the
Soul theory, equating it with 'eternalism',
a notion opposed by the historical Buddha.
