I found this a bit more entertaining that "Book of Eli" which I saw last week. The film drew me in more at the beginning and didn't take it self too seriously until the end of the second act. Unfortunately the third act took itself too seriously. Good for some supernatural fun though maybe not quite as good as the TV series "Supernatural". Might make a good "renter." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038686/
I think I might have mentioned I saw "The Hurt Locker" this week on DVD and will say that James Cameron was right at the Golden Globes. Excellent film. I have also been wading through the extras on the "Gamer" Blu-Ray which I saw originally in the theater but the disc has about a one and a half hour long "making of", a featurette on the Red camera used in the film (I want one or two), the audio commentary and an icon commentary (over two hours long). The movie features Gerald Butler ("300") and Michael C Hall ("Dexter"). Probably too outrageous for some people. Maybe a little more fun if you are into video games or have worked in the industry. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1034032/ I usually don't watch "Bones" on Fox but the ad for it intrigued me as it was about a the JFK assassination. Unfortunately the show has problems and tries to be funny much of the time and fails. The episode of "Supernatural" was better with Sam and Dean checking into mental hospital to track down another monster and explaining to the doc that about the apocalypse with the doc thinking "we're really got a couple of loonies here." Hard to say whether the two episodes of "Caprica" tonight on Syfy are really new or just a censored version of the movie that came out a few months back on DVD and Blu-Ray. They've also been playing that VOD. I have my DVR set just the same.
