Nuclear toxins from nuclear "powerplants" leaking into the oceans and into the air is a big problem. It is the cause of a number of health-related problems including alzheimer and cancer. Fortunately our space-brothers have the technology to clean up this waste, which they do on a massive scale and on a daily basis. Still about 5% of this deadly unseen waste reamins in the water and in the air causing havoc to the health of millions. Then there is hunger. It's not as if hunger is something that is happening somewhere "else". 45000 people die every day because of hunger, and it reduces the quality of life for every living being on this planet because humanity is one living organism. Very soon capitalism will be gone. The next area will have brotherhood and we will share the worlds resources. So yes, there are yet faults where I live, but the future is bright.
