You almost certainly won't get a reply, Ruth, but you are not the first to wonder about these things. At least one lurker has written to me suggesting that Michael's "Ph.D." was, like "Dr." John Gray's, from Columbia Pacific Uni- versity (otherwise known as "the University of P.O. Box 2000," or "Send Us Your Money And We Send You A Diploma U.")
But just in case Michael does deign to answer, I might add one more question to Ruth's list of them -- "Do you have sex with your patients or clients?" I think this is a relevant question in this context because a Google search on "Michael Dean Goodman" produces more ads and articles about him providing classes and talks on Tantric Sex and Polyamory than it does psychological counseling. This leaves me wondering whether his recent 444-line "hit piece" was occasioned more because Vaj expressed concern about people who abuse their positions of power and trust across the board than it was because he had concerns about Maharishi per se. I suggest that these are all valid questions that no real psychologist would have any trouble answering. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, ruthsimplicity <no_re...@...> wrote: > > Dear Fairfield Lifers, > > I'm a professional (Ph.D.) therapist . . . > > <snip> > > Dr. Michael Dean Goodman > 561-350-3930 michaeldeangoodman@ > <../../../../post?postID=ZLs7dBjEIhtnesj4xFnKSJ6urWs-KwlFmulGzbF-FLzEbtu\ > O0eGci7eErmFSN5eWbdqEgAebCJ231Xmtk-LuQ_yJ99shpA> > Offices in West Palm Beach & Boca Raton, Florida > Director, PARA - The Center for Realization > Director, The Relationship Institute > Co-Director, The PremYoga Center > Member: Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America > (AAPNA) > <> > Spiritual educator (yoga, meditation, tantra, vedanta, ayur veda) > Ph.D. Counselor Life Coach Speaker Author > Offering Private Sessions Classes Workshops & Retreats > Satsangs > Clients & programs in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, & > India > Working in person, by phone, or by Skype audio or video > Free initial consultation to discuss your needs and goals > > You claim to be a Ph.D.counselor.
