What are you running out of? Screen space or disk space? I'm pretty sure that 
Mac minis can only run a single monitor, but Macbooks and iMacs have ports to 
run external displays. And, if the problem is a full hard drive, you could just 
get a USB external hard drive or a networked storage system to hold your data. 
Sure, a whole new computer will likely solve your problem, but it doesn't sound 
like that's the most sensible solution if there's nothing wrong with your 
current computer.
