thing these days and we are talking about places that would be 50 years old or
older by now. How many would you expect to still be in business? Restaurants,
hotels and motels come and go. I doubt the people that made the accusations
needed to go any further in proving their point than Al's mammie who had
first hand experience and Al Sr.'s voting record on civil rights. As far as Gore
Sr. being a staunch segregationist, I doubt that also but at the same time he
sure made use of it and tip toed through the tulips. And as I said earlier he
was no Martin Luther King. I'm sure he recognized some time that he
had to project a different image if he wanted to remain in the Democratic Party
and Politics in general as did Robert Byrd.
