I think anyone who has the experience of 'Witnessing' is in CC. Anyone who has the experience of 'no mantra, no thoughts' is the beginning of CC. I believe CC is cultivated the minute one starts TM and notices that there is a greater and greater awareness of pure consciousness, as the mantra refines and is transcended...
