It was my understanding that when we received gifts 'from Maharishi' they were actually from Vanessa. They were always blessed during the Lakshmi puja by Maharishi and then distributed. Now I don't know who bought the top lady gifts...I don't know about that. Every year on Lakshmi we got gifts. One year gold plated Indian necklaces, another bracelets, another gold cups with our initials and either amethysts or citroens....can't remember anything else. Oh yes and we were given many Sidha dresses. Ick.
