John - just a thought.

Do you conceive that there may be an infinity of parallel
universes out there?

If you do, why are you opposed to the not unrelated idea
that there may be an "infinity of times" prior to NOW? i.e
Barry's Eternalism?

(And incidentally, as I have said before, if we go with
eternalism, then the same conclusion seems to force itself
upon us viz. "there may be infinite versions of you
as well". For this would be true in THIS (infinite) universe,
quite apart from being true in any additional infinity of parallel
universes we may admit to our pantheon. After all, in an infinite
universe, one would suppose that all things that could 'possibly'
happen have already occurred - not just once, but an infinite
number of times!).

"Infinity" - very funny chap that.
