when I was in Sao Paulo a few years ago for 8 months, I saw their brilliant levitating apparati--- different dome-shaped, thin plastic bags kept spread and uplifted by candle power alone... I was always trying to accomplish this with my Dad's dry cleaning bags, a base of horizontal, interlocking straws, and a bunch of birthday candles... Anyway, that's what it looks like to me, maybe with some extra volatile gas that was lit bt the flame, exploded, then some smaller pieces fell while flaming....
