It just dawned on me to look at MMY:s proclamations symbolically rather than literally. Actually this way his thinking and reasoning starts to make sense.
I'm myself a Freemason. In Masonry the teaching is mainly imbedded in symbolism. The furnishing in the lodge and also the rituals have symbolic meaning, that gradually opens to us. When a symbol opens up to you, or starts to speak to you, it happens from a clearly deeper level, than conceptual thinking could reach. Masons are builders of the Temple of Humanity. Operative Masons in the middle ages have actually built also cathedrals in Europe, but in modern times this building refers solely to the inner unseen domain. Changes in the inner domain then of course reflect to the outer behaviour. MMY earlier thought that world peace could be created by large groups of people meditating or doing sidhi program or vedic recitation together. Apparently he has now come to the conclusion that it is not enough. There has to happen also real changes in the structures in the mind's of the individuals. He is symbolically expressing his recognition and encouragement to all organizations that are occupied in helping people to transform themselves and work through their inner distortions, so that our inner reality would become something like he symbolically refers to as Stapathya-Vedic buildings. If I interpret all these Raja's and Kings in the same fashion, that phenomenon starts also to make sense. A Raja could symbolically represent awareness of certain subtle aspect in the inner domain and capacity to coordinate it. The King is that part of ourselves that supervises and coordinates the functioning of the Rajas and possibly crowns new ones, when new aspects have opened in the inner reality. Here I speak about very deep aspects of inner reality, that we can share collectively. Irmeli ------------------------ Yahoo!
