Dear Buck,
That was a close one. You nearly had to come face to face with some possible hypocrisy. I recommend unsubscribing as soon as possible. On the other hand, how often do you get this kind of attention. Maybe that is what this is all about. I am predicting you will fall back into your usual posting mode. It was never about feedback anyway. It was mostly just rote--- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "Buck" <dhamiltony2k5@...> wrote: > Dear list, I am thinking about the moral character of some of the people on FFL. Thus far all the responses to what I saw in that movement legal document here on FFL have been in favor of the ends-justify-the-means expedient, "Oh Buck, just sign the thing". Well, I'm around asking people around town here describing what I saw in that legal document and thus far everyone who listens advises me, "no way sign that thing without letting a lawyer look at it". Between these two groups, the FFL people here and Fairfield people around, the "no-way sign that thing" people are running way ahead of the "just sign it" in the poll. > > > I am kind of stunned at the difference. Both groups are presented with the same facts and these people who write and post here kind of stick out by contrast. It makes me wonder about the character of the group who post on FFL. It is proly because most people that post here don't live here and don't get it or they aren't regular meditators and according to the science their moral reasoning is evidently poor. Like, Guru Dev advised we should keep the company of saints, mahatmas, and wise people. It makes me wonder about FFL as a place. The moderators should proly do a better job of picking the members and moderating the place. > > Thoughtfully, > -Buck in FF >
