The response to Oprah’s show ‘America’s Most Unusual Town’ has been enormous. Dr Bobby Roth said the number of phone and email enquiries jumped from 350 in the 5 days before the show, to 8,000 in the 5 days after the show. Similarly, the number of unique visitors to tm.org leaped from 15,000 to 190,000. This means that about two thirds of the approximately 290,000 viewers logged on to tm.org—an unheard of reaction. Oprah comments on her website that after meditating in the Golden Dome of Pure Knowledge, ‘I walked away feeling fuller than when I came in, full of hope and a sense of contentment and deep joy, knowing for sure that in the craziness of the world that seems to bombard us at every angle, there is always the consistency of stillness.’ It is this kind of honesty and insightfulness that makes Oprah’s show so powerful. Dr Roth feels that each section of the show—on the Maharishi School, on Vastu, on the Domes, etc.—will be used by appropriate sections of the Movement to promote their knowledge and programmes. Read more on Oprah's website www.oprah.com Latin America rising to Invincibility Six countries in Latin America are moving smoothly towards reaching their target of invincibility in May, June or July 2012. • Suriname is expected to achieve invincibility in the first or second week of May • Guyana and French Guiana are expected about the 1st or 2nd week of May • Venezuela is expected at the end of May • El Salvador at beginning of June • Argentina at the end of June or beginning of July. Raja Luis said we see the results of rising invincibility in the economy, in the management of violence—for example a few days ago FARC released all army prisoners and unilaterally announced the end of their decades-old conflict. These changes are due to the groups of Yogic Flyers of father Mejia; the guerillas are becoming more soft, the government more comprehensive in its approach, and the whole country is breathing more easily. It's almost contagious. It is happening very often—it is happening now, and you can see it in the news. The whole process is easily propelled—it’s just a matter of a few hundred, or if it’s a big country, a few thousand Yogic Flyers. Right now the pressing need is for TM teachers. Raja Luis is searching urgently for 50 Governors to teach on the big projects. Spanish or Portuguese is a requirement. It’s a great opportunity for anyone to do something great.
