PROFESSIONAL DANCE LESSONS WITH PAM RUTHERFORD SUMMER POP-UP WORKSHOP ARGENTINE TANGO NEW DATE - SUNDAY, JULY 29 LESSON # 1: 1:15 PM-2:00 PM LESSON # 2: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM In this class I will teach the first 4 or 5 steps, depending on the skill level of the class, of the Social Bronze Argentine Tango Syllabus. You will find this dance to be very different from the ballroom style of Tango, however, those who have learned the Social Bronze Tango Syllabus will be able to apply many of the elements from that syllabus to the steps in the Argentine Tango which will help to ramp up the speed at which you are able to learn these steps. Its all about elements!! That is what makes learning to dance fun and easy. Elements are created by utilizing a syllabus that works through the figures in a logical order. Through this system of learning, you learn new elements from step to step and as the difficulty increases you will find that you are using many of your basic elements and just adding 1 or 2 new, more advanced elements and concepts to create those more difficult steps. This system has proven to work time and time again. It makes learning to dance easier and you will find that you retain more information and will be able to easily recall that information. Viola! Dancing made fun and easy!! 1. El Basico 2. El Ocho 3. El Doble Ocho 4. Backward Ocho 5. El Gancho to Cobra Fan Here's how it works: 1. Pre-pay before Sunday, July 22 - $20 per person ($10 per lesson) (Minimum of 8 pre-paid participants required to hold the workshop - payments can be dropped off at 201 W. Stone Avenue or call/email to make other arrangements. See contact info below. I currently have 5 verbal, 1 paid and 2 tentative commitments for this class so it looks promising that we will have enough to run it) 2. Pay at the door - $25 per person ($12.50 per lesson) (If you choose this option be sure to check your email on Monday, July 23 to see if the class is a go) 3. Sorry, no credits or refunds. Of course, if you pre-pay and the workshop is not held you will receive a full refund in the same form of payment you originally made. I hope to see everyone on July 29th. Don't forget to pre-register and pre-pay (no exceptions, please). I need a minimum of 8 to guarantee that the workshop will be held. ALL LESSONS HELD AT MORNING STAR STUDIO Come join the fun and learn to dance the correct way.
