After my brief time here, The Good Doctor observes that the FFL dynamic revolves around the quality of objects. Example, one person says something offensive to another, or the group, perhaps writes a little essay on how most here are, well, unhinged, and/or stupid.
The reaction of some is outrage, anger, and generally calling to an end of such behavior. The originator then claims that the reactive members are now showing their true, and invariably negative, colors. EXCEPT, if the offender had not expressed the ugly opinion in the first place, the reactions would not have come. The quality of all that follows, begins with the originating object. To claim otherwise is to argue, for example, that the baseball has nothing to do with the game. So, the offender by being offensive, creates a reality to the others that rests solely with him or her. There is no reason for a reaction of any kind, if no one is being socially or personally offensive. The quality remains with the object.
