Forwarded From: Diane Rosenberg <drosenb...@lisco.com> Dear Friends,
This week I got back into the newspaper business – for one week only. Fairfield EcoNews is now on the stands in the place of the Fairfield Weekly Reader while the FWR staff is on vacation. Hilary graciously allowed me to use her stands – and her delivery person – for this special edition paper. Please check it out! It contains a great interview with Jim Hightower on the front page, written by Arianne Pfoutz. And tons of stories about Fairfield’s sustainable community. There is so much going on here! Also, KRUU’s James Moore did a wonderful interview with Jim Hightower which has two more broadcast times: JIM HIGHTOWER on KRUU-100.1 FM Friday, 2:10 pm Monday 7:00 am Tune in and enjoy! I highly encourage you to come to the JFAN Annual Meeting on October 3. Hightower will be great! A packed audience makes a community statement that we don’t want CAFOs here – and the industrial pork industry notices. If there is one simple thing that you can do this year to keep CAFOs out of our community, this is it. Thanks! Diane ---------------- WHAT WILL IT TAKE?
