'Mother Nature Slams Us?'

Funny how God works in strange ways:

What we give, we get back;

Revenge is mine, said God.

So, perhaps, the invasion and destruction of Iraq;

It's infrastructure; it's poor and defenseless;

When we bombed, watching, "Look How We Can Shock and Awe".

We watched the bombs fall, and light up the sky;

Live on CNN.

Now we see the reaction;

Nature's might; in New Orleans;

And surrounding areas.

And the folly of man.

And how the whole world sees our 'Superpower';

For what it is; Like the Titanic.

Arrogant to think we could escape forever,

The wrath of God;

For our nation's invasion;

And the destruction of Iraq.
