dear merudanda we must be realistic. sigh. I am doomed to be forever a philistine about opera. Cecilia and her 3 octave voice are amazing. Somehow she does not move me. I think it is the melodic tone of traditional opera that doesn't resonate for me. OTOH I like the songs in Phantom of the Opera. Perhaps I am simply a silly romantic when it comes to music.
It is kapha season now. Perhaps the 2 winds won't be so turbulent.
