My subjective experience during practice of the flying sutra was one of wholistic purification- much more so than doing any other sutra in the TM-Sidhi program. The actual experience was one of transforming into a being of light. This had some objective correlation too, as I would occasionally collide with something pretty hard during the flying or big hopping with no bruises or pain afterwards.
So the flying sutra appears to be the most powerful of those taught for cleaning out the nervous system, preparing the senses for perception of the finest relative. Incidentally, it was following practice of the TM-Sidhis program for ~13 years that I had a clear experience of and visit by Brahmanada Saraswati, Guru Dev, which verified beyond any doubt the experience of 'the finest relative' for me. I stopped doing the Sidhis soon after that. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
