So how come his years of studying meditation and hindooism didn't
teach him that his Christ experience was actually this heart chakra
thingy? Pretty big concept to miss out on I would have thought.

I've had a big heart chakra thing too, very nice but as he says
enlightenment didn't come and after many years one starts to wonder what the
point of it all is. Divorced from the belief that something
good is happening what do you get out of it other than the occasional
flashy experience?

I also know plenty of Christian types who *do* get Christ in their
hearts through prayer and devotion, how can we belittle their
interpretation of their subjective experiences and claim it as one
of "ours" if we have never seen it through their eyes?
