The academic operations of MUM are probably breakeven but it is still
a magnet for donations from around the country, not just FF. Plus it
obtains gov't grants as the state politicos still feel FF meditators
are a bright economic engine in an economically lackluster state. All
the new buildings going up are funded by donations.

No one is saying that MUM is just some real estate investment for the
TMO. What we're saying is that the day MUM can no longer send money
to int'l or grow its real estate assets is the day the tmo will decide
to sell off MUM's real estate, transfer the proceeds to int'l and move
on to the next project.
