Clerics abusing anyone sexually or otherwise is unacceptable. The Catholic Church has received the most press regarding this unfortunate situaton but the web has numberous sites listing offences by Hindu, Buddhist etc.. clerics. There are/were several books (maybe out of print) by women that were sexually abused by Zen and Tibetan Teachers. Rick Fields wrote a book about the history of Buddhism in the US containing many stories of sexual abuse. The Hindu Tradition has its share of problems. Can't mention the other Religious Traditions without getting branded. Basically, people are no fu***ng good regardless of the type of self-induced so-called religious/transcendental experiences they proclaim. What else is new? ------------------------ Yahoo!
