Well Daniel Goleman's best selling and ground breaking book is called Emotional
Intelligence and could be considered a classic. So I'm guessing he's familiar
with more than thinking. As for their smiles, maybe they are camera shy.

The dude looks like his head is going to explode, from thinking so much. And
what is with their vampire smiles?

iranitea, I agree. Here's an interview with Tara Bennett-Goleman and Daniel
Goleman on that topic of freeing the mind that I received today:

iranitea, thank you and I do consider myself very fortunate. I think becoming
totally free of the prison of ignorance can take lifetimes and I'm not yet
completely free of that prison.

Thanks Share, but that's not how I had meant it. There are different prisons,
or should I say cages, and it's quite possible to free yourself from some
dependency, mental or otherwise, some limiting mental constructs, or influences
before ultimate realization.

And maybe the most dire prison of all is
thinking we are free when we're not.
Anyway, happy nine nights of Mother Divine. Blessings of Mother Divine on you
always. The next three days, blessings of MahaDurga.

Oh, good you told me. I spent my time doing some photoshopping an image for
facebook

Oh thanks Share. I like to be corrected, if it's not used as an opportunity for
a put down, as it has been happening so often.

Share, I really liked your comment about the PR anniversary. I like that you
don't give in to all the collective pressure, of some of the group members
here, that you are in fact NOT back peddling. I like you to know, that I am
completely with you on this issue. PR is a strong word, but I do think that it
was needed, and can well be understood. Don't give in to some wrong understood
political correctness, which is basically the argument of your opponents. You
are the one who clearly felt and perceived the kind of unwanted intrusion, and
it is you who have to draw the red line. All the bad mouthing of your character
is rubbish, you have not been the intruder in this regard. You had to deal here
with a master manipulator - and you were able to see through this, and free
yourself from that
influence. Sometimes you have to step out of a prison, to realize you have
been in a prison. There are prisons of mental concepts and conditionings. To
free oneself from these may sometimes take years or decades. It doesn't matter
how long you were exposed to these concepts, they may still take roots in you -
obviously many have a hard time to get rid of this. Consider yourself lucky!

iranitea, usually people say back peddling, like on a bicycle. But I like back
paddling too. Like in a boat. I also could go for, on a rainy day, back
puddling, that is, jumping backwards into a puddle (-:
