Damn, I responded to this and it hasn't shown up. Will give it a while before struggling to remember it again. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, <noozguru@...> wrote:
Before I learned TM back in the early 70s I also followed Ramana Maharishi and picked up a few "Advaita" techniques. One was the to hold the Earth at arms length and regard how important everything in the world is. Then take it even further out and until the Earth is a tiny dot. Result? Nothing on Earth is all that important. Neither is anything on FFL. But also regarding FFL at arms length one can see it's collective consciousness is not all that different from what I find on other online forums or comments on new articles. So much for improved consciousness. In fact, I anyone at Yahoo ever bothered to read the group they would think there are a bunch of 14 year olds here. That's about the level of maturity of some of the posts. Especially this is true reading the latest folderol "Test: Can you spot the LIEs in this Judy Stein post?". First off Turq is responding to a post by Judy responding to my post about what this group would be like if we were sitting around a table at Starbucks. My post wound up showing up late by email as did Judy's response to it. In fact I mentioned that in my reply to Ann. The problem here is that many these "folderols" (or fodder rows) all too seriously. That was my point about how different things would be sitting around a table at Starbucks. Facial expressions would create a different response. This isn't anything new as it's been said many a time on forums and groups over the years when tiffs roll out.
