I was pretty surprised today, when I finally realized, that the US job creation
numbers are reported monthly, usually a number from 100 to 200,000, BUT, the US
layoff numbers are reported weekly, usually a number between 300 and 400,000.
Do the math = A NET JOB LOSS of 14 to 16 MILLION JOBS, ANNUALLY.
I am astounded, but not really very surprised, that no one has noticed this in
the mainstream press. Perhaps anyone that suggests reporting it, is
automatically laid off.
