Now, Hebrew has no indefinite article (English a/an). We are not absolutely sure, but we seem to recall the indicator of the direct object is used *only* in connection with the definite article (ha [~ huh]).
So, it seems if one wanted to say in Hebrew: God created time, it might sound either like bara elohim et ha-et (created God the time) or perhaps more likely: bara elohim et. In the latter case it would sound, we believe, exactly the same as that part of Genesis 1 : 1 - (b'reshit) bara elohim et (hasshamayim ve-et ha-aretz)! If that's the case, the notion of God creating time seems to be "embedded", so to speak, in Genesis 1 : 1! Q.E.D?? ROFLOL!!
