Dear Supporter of the Maharishi Vedic Pandits,

Thank you so much for all you have done to make it possible to have the
Maharishi Vedic Pandit program in America for nearly eight years.

As you know, the program has faced some recent challenges-both external and
internal-and all of us have been thinking what the future of the program
will be.

Recently, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam met personally and at length with the
Vedic Pandits at their campus in Maharishi Vedic City. A beautiful vision
for the future of the Vedic Pandit program emerged, which was announced by
Dr. Bevan Morris on Akshaya Tritiya, the Day of Lasting Achievement.

This includes a new, extended Vedic Pandit training program in Maharishi
Vedic Science in the US to create Pandit 'Acharyas'. Guided by top teachers
from India, and including training on a scientific level-science exploring
all fields of Vedic wisdom-this program will be offered by Maharishi
University of Management, the foremost institution in the world for science
and consciousness, in conjunction with Global Country of World Peace.

This diploma program will be directly supervised by the faculty of MUM, by
Acharyas from India, and by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam himself, our greatest
expert in Vedic vibrations and how they transform the individual and
society. This program will present knowledge of Veda as the blueprint of
creation-knowledge of Veda in modern scientific terms-yielding Acharyas who
are great exponents of Maharishi's revival of the total Vedic wisdom.

Already the Pandits in America are reviewing the scientific research on the
benefits of the Transcendental MeditationR technique and commenting on the
profound effect that this intellectual understanding is having on their
personal experience.

Our Movement organizations in America are unified in their support for this
program, which will begin immediately with the 190 Pandits now on campus,
and continue with a core group of 150-200 Pandits until more funds can be
raised to expand the program.

Donations for the National YagyaSM performances for the United States, as
well donations for Special Yagyas, continue to support the Vedic Pandits
both in America and in India. Maharishi Global Development Fund, Maharishi
University of Management, Maharishi Purusha program, and Maharishi Ayurveda
Products International are all giving monthly support.

The Howard and Alice Settle Foundation, the greatest donor since the
beginning of the Pandit program-even while facing declining oil and gas
revenues from a fixed set of wells for which production has naturally
declined over time-is committed to continuing to help the Pandit program
during this transition, and to support a group of 150 community participants
on the Invincible America Assembly for at least the coming year.

To create this new beginning for the Vedic Pandits in America, your support
is also critical.

John Revolinski, who many of you know as a long-time Fairfield City Council
member and faculty member at MUM, and who is with the Pandits every day as
the administrator of the Pandit program, reminds us how precious this group
of Vedic Pandits is:

"The number of Maharishi Vedic Pandits in Maharishi Vedic City has declined
in recent months, but as a group of about 190 they are one of the most
powerful forces for good in America. It is so fortunate that the leaders of
our Movement have jointly committed to maintaining their presence here on a
permanent basis.

"Most of these remaining Maharishi Vedic Pandits have been immersed in
Maharishi's program since before they were teenagers. With great pride,
their families enrolled them in local Maharishi educational facilities at a
very young age.

"They have risen to manhood following a daily routine filled with
transcending, Yogic FlyingR, and Vedic chanting. In their spare time they
perform personal pujas, sing bhajans, draw pictures of devas, and play
cricket. Immersed in sattva, they are some of the most happy and
good-humored people one could imagine.

"Two challenges have faced our Pandit community recently that received
significant attention from the press. One is the worldly attraction of money
that for the first time since the beginning of the program in America has
tempted a number of Pandits to leave without authorization and seek illegal
employment somewhere in the U.S., aided by unscrupulous and misguided
people. We have taken many steps to counter this.

"Also having seen the effect that high inflation in India has had on the
Pandits' families, we have increased the monthly support that the families
receive, which has boosted morale considerably.

"The other challenge that caught the public's attention was an incoherent
incident that only involved a small percentage of the Pandits on campus at
the time. All of the Pandits involved in this incident have left, most on
their own volition. The community now is much more settled and committed to
their program. They are creating the same power of lively bliss on which we
have come to rely. They deserve and need the continued support of our
community."

During his last visit to Maharishi Vedic City a few weeks ago, our Indian
leader, Ajayprakash Shrivastava, asked the Pandits to perform a Yagya each
afternoon specifically to support our Pandit donors, and to support our very
precious community.

The Vedic Pandit program is a special gift from Maharishi to America. It has
brought immeasurable benefits to our nation, our world, and to each of us.

For the program to continue, it needs all of our help. Please support the
Maharishi Vedic Pandits in America and much as you possibly can. This
support is needed more than ever right now.

To donate directly to support the Vedic Pandits in America, and to enjoy the
personal benefit of the daily Yagyas to support our MVC Pandit donors,
