I've been meditating for awhile and experienced many forms of meditation . . .
finding each has its distinct benefits.

I believe Maharishi had said that any meditator experiencing thought, a mantra,
breath, etc., was practicing "transcendental" meditation.

My experience of the impulse of one of the syllable or consant resonances of
mother Matrika is very different than say 30,000 hours ago, even a few years
ago.

Something I read in 'Conversations With Maharishi', a clue, got me fascinated
with opening to the resonance, and its 'as if' (at times) the vibration is
beckoning me to its source.

OK, I can understand if you think this sounds like a pile of bull shit.

But it's my experience, and of course it will change, and because I've
experienced many forms of meditation, I don't find my personal transcending
meditation "light", compared to other forms, come to think of it, it might be
called meditation Illuminé.

And although I'm the one who has meditated regularly for awhile, I am thankful
for Maharishi for his laughter, charisma and for sharing his teaching, insights
and time.

I try not to make 'ungrounded' assessments, I try to look on the bright side of
things. It feels better that way.

Many years ago Maharishi stayed with a friend of mine at her house in the
Okanagan. Apparently one of his definitions of Enlightenment that he expressed
at that time was "a state of being in harmony with your own evolution." Even if
he didn't say it, I think it's a good working definition.

Most of the people I hang out with mostly identify with their name and form in
all its manifestations. More on becoming than Being.

It was for myself, and them, that I created . . .

No big deal, just a little notebook (and an answering to a beckoning that
wouldn't go away, a.k.a. whispering from my muse) that may transform itself
into something else.
