Now I don't think I can agree with your assessment, Barry. It could be that
these here Space Brothers (I don't know why we can't have any Space Sisters)
are coming round for visits, they are highly intelligent and highly advanced,
and if so they certainly could have the technology or perhaps mind powers to
flatten these wheat fields to make some fancy designs.

It could be that they do it just to see how idiotic humans can be. If humans
run around with their necks stretched up, looking for the Mother Ship and
claiming the crop destruction is engineered by aliens, it means our race is too
stupid to make contact with.

An excellent intelligence test the visitors make and institute on every planet
they visit to see how advanced the inhabitants are. That's the reason they
don't make further contact, since we are too stupid to merit same.

OK, this exceeds all possible levels of Idiot Tolerance.

To believe that aliens are so intelligent that they have managed to travel
across the vast distances of space to visit us but then so incredibly STOOPID
that the only way they can think of to communicate with us is by stomping wheat
is one level of Idiot.

But to believe that the stomped wheat now has magical Woo Woo powers? That's a
Whole New Level Of Idiot.
Consider this post a refutation of the person who claimed that one should
refrain from criticizing or mocking teachings one doesn't agree with. If no one
points out to people who believe stuff like this that they are Idiots -- and
CRAZY -- they'll never have an opportunity to become smarter -- and more sane.

Thus allowing a person to spout nonsense like this without comment is actually
a harmful act, because it perpetuates both their ignorance and their insanity.
Better IMO to just tell it like it is, so that hopefully they'll catch a clue
and stop making a spectacle of themselves. That's my theory, and I'm stickin'
with it.

Why ? The crop is not harmed, not a straw is broken just bent. The crop
harvested from the formations itself is sold for much more than normal price to
enthusiast because it is believed to have healing abilities.
