Richard, I agree with what you say, that we all go down the rabbit hole to some 
extent. And it's good to just accept that that's part of being human.

We don't know exactly why some people latched onto the TMO for
    prestige, for money, free rent and/or bread to eat. We don't know
    what they did after they got kicked out. 

All we know is what they want to reveal in this discussion. There's
    probably a lot more to these stories than what meets the eye. Maybe
    some things are better left unsaid. Go figure.
